RIVERFRONT OMAHA TESTIMONIAL
by Riverfront Resident

We had the opportunity to purchase and live in our new luxury condo for over 5 years ago. We moved from the suburbs as empty nesters and rented in the Old Market for two years just to make sure we would enjoy downtown living before we made a purchase. We were thrilled with the experience and after looking at all of the opportunities, we decided on new construction over renovated projects.
There are many reasons why we picked Riverfront.  Just far enough away from the bar noise and congestion of the Old Market, but close enough for a daily stroll to many of the restaurants, shops and theaters. The Riverfront project has many qualities that aren’t available at other downtown locations.
Some of the reasons we enjoy our home at The Riverfront Place.
-Floor to ceiling windows was very important for the brightness and openness.
-Low utilities in news construction vs. renovated building.
-Value was tremendous. The quality of the building construction and the interior finishing are unmatched. Our condo had a previous committed buyer who pre-paid over $40,000 for upgrades during construction and then failed to qualify for her loan at Closing. Our unit was listed new for $349,000 which did not include the upgrades.  We were able to negotiate the purchase for far less than the asking price and gained the benefit of the upgrades from the previous committed purchaser at no cost to us. Upgrades are: Bamboo Floors throughout (only unit in the project with all wood floors) fireplace, granite back splashes, upgraded appliances, Italian porcelain tile in both baths, extra deep bath tub, security system, pre wired surround sound, cox cable and HDMI cable within the walls, ground floor storage and two side by side heated parking stalls, not separated by a building support.
The view from the windows and balcony are of the city and the walk bridge. The balcony has developer approval to add a gate and steps from the balcony to the patio common area.  Many neighbor gatherings are held on the common area which brings he residents together as a community.
The association fees take care of the cost of water, gas, basic cable, concierge service, access to the Riverfront room in tower one and the Skyline room in tower two, both exercise rooms, building maintenance, lawn and snow removal, and exterior window cleaning. A gated bicycle storage area is in the garage.
We enjoy the location as we have season tickets for many events. We walk to Creighton Baseball and the CWS games at Ameritrade Stadium and UNO hockey and Creighton basketball games and concerts at the Century Like Center. We also walk over the Bob Kerry Bridge to Harrah’s to attend the Stir concerts. Bike trailers are right outside our door and the Old Market is just a short walk away.
Residents have different views from their homes at Riverfront.  We found that the lower units offer a connection to the ground.  Our friends located higher in the towers enjoy being higher but have stated that there is a disconnect/isolation from the ground and green spaces.  The river view or city view are both spectacular.
Overall, the location, view, quality of living and the closeness of surrounding venues and attractions are priceless. New businesses keep coming to the NODO area. The luxury of the Riverfront Condo’s is one of a kind.
